Position Overview

Reserve Motorworks is hiring a Dry Ice Cleaning Technician to join our growing operations team. An Automotive Dry Ice Blasting Technician operates specialized, non-abrasive CO2 cleaning equipment to remove grease, rust, and dirt from vehicle undercarriages, engines, and sensitive components. This technical, hands-on role requires preparing vehicles, adjusting blasting pressure/ice flow, and maintaining equipment to restore parts without damaging surfaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate dry ice blasting equipment to safely and effectively clean engine bays, undercarriages, suspension components, machinery, and sensitive surfaces

• Perform precision cleaning without damaging finishes, seals, wiring, or mechanical components

• Prepare vehicles and work areas prior to blasting and ensure proper cleanup after each job

• Inspect components before and after cleaning to ensure quality and consistency

• Follow safety procedures and equipment protocols at all times

• Maintain and care for blasting equipment, tools, and workspace

• Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship

Training & Development

No prior dry ice blasting experience is required. Reserve Motorworks will provide hands-on training with our equipment and established processes. This role offers the opportunity to develop a specialized technical skill set within a professional automotive environment, with room for growth as the company expands.

• Strong mechanical sense or technical aptitude

• Comfortable working around vehicles, machinery, and tools

• Attention to detail and commitment to doing work correctly

• Ability to follow procedures and safety guidelines

• Physically capable of performing hands-on work in a shop environment

• Reliable, disciplined, and responsible

Work Environment

This position is based in a professional automotive workshop environment. The role involves standing, lifting, and working around vehicles and mechanical components. Safety awareness and care for high-value assets are essential.
