Description: This 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429 was built on October 13, 1969 and assigned Kar Kraft number 2210 is at Reserve Motorworks on consignment. The car was originally specified with Grabber Blue paintwork, a white interior, and a 429ci Boss V8 linked with a four-speed, close-ratio manual transmission and a 3.91 Traction-Lok differential as part of the optional Drag Pack. It was further equipped with Competition suspension, power steering and front discs, 15″ RWL tires, the Convenience and Decor groups, a rim-blow steering wheel, a tachometer, deluxe belts, and an AM radio. Restorative work was performed in the early 2000s, and it acquired by its current owner in 2015.
The 15″ Magnum 500-style wheels and F60x15 Goodyear Polyglas GT tires were mounted in the mid 2000s. The Boss 429 model was equipped with revised control arms, a higher-rate front anti-roll bar than other Mustang variants, a rear anti-roll bar, and a Competition suspension with staggered rear shocks. Power-assisted brakes with discs up front and drums out back were standard on the 429, with the front brakes reinforced with heavy-duty hubs and rotors as well as oversized spindles. Power-assisted steering was also equipped from the factory.
